In my arms I’m holding the nutribullet, and the fit bit that I won as monthly prizes, and I’m thinking that winning those prizes made my life worth living, not the nutribullet so much, but I had the best time ever on Hayman Island, I spent every night at the swim-up bar. I never knew such a thing existed. It was like paradise..

The Bank is a comedy about a suburban bank branch in the aftermath of a big enquiry. Banks have been caught out, (yet again) but this time a big part of their failure is about something that’s specific to all the employees, - the aggressive sales at all costs culture that rewards employees for making sales and chastises them if they don’t.

The Bank asks whether it is possible to be a good person in a bad system and explores the barbarity of the jobs people perform in service of enormous ruthless corporations. It is a play for six performers.
